Samsung

launched its flagship Galaxy S24 smartphone series earlier this year. Now it appears that the company is gearing up for the launch of the Fan Edition of Galaxy S24.

According to a report by GalaxyClub.nl, Samsung is still working on the Galaxy S24 FE edition smartphone. The report reveals that the smartphone comes in codename R12. The report also mentions that the company may not launch the smartphone in July and the buyers will have to wait more for the smartphone.

The report adds that Samsung may launch the Galaxy S24 FE smartphone later this year. So, it is expected that the South Korean smartphone maker may launch the smartphone in October this year.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE expected specifications

Numerous online reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE could boast a 6.1-inch AMOLED panel. Samsung might introduce the smartphone with two distinct chipsets—the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400—in various markets.

The device is projected to offer 12GB of RAM and may be released in two storage variants: 128GB and 256GB. Furthermore, the FE variant is expected to house a 4,500mAh battery.

Additionally, the FE variant is expected to share many similarities with the Galaxy S24 model launched earlier this year. However, considering that FE variants usually represent scaled-down versions of flagship phones, Samsung might make compromises in certain aspects.

The Galaxy S24 FE could feature less robust cameras and potentially offer lower durability compared to the standard Galaxy S24 smartphone.
