Raj Anadkat says he was offered Salman Khan's Bigg Boss in 2022 and 2023 as well but he could not participate due to certain reasons.

Looks like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Raj Anadkat will soon be participating in Bigg Boss. Recently, the young star took to his YouTube channel and revealed that he has been offered Salman Khan's show multiple times. He revealed that even though he was approached for Bigg Boss in 2022 and 2023, he could not participate due to certain reasons.

"I would love to participate in Bigg Boss. I have been a huge fan of the show and watched almost all seasons from its inception. I really wanted to go to the show, let me tell you that I was offered the show twice in 2022 and 2023, but due to some reasons, things didn't work out back then. If I get offered again then I would surely do the show as I am a diehard fan and I love its format," Raj said.

Raj Anadkat used to play the role of Tappu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He was a part of the show for five years but announced his departure in December 2022. Recently, Raj also talked about leaving Asit Modi's show and revealed that he quit because he wanted to explore more as an actor.

"I did this show for five years and I did over 1,000 episodes for the show. This journey was very beautiful for me. But as an actor, I wanted to grow more in this field. I wanted to explore different characters. I took this decision and I am thankful to god for this opportunity. Thanks to all of you for accepting me as Tappu. Sometimes you have to make such decisions in life. It is a part and parcel of your life," Raj said.

In March this year, News18 Showsha exclusively reported that Raj Anadkat is engaged to his TMKOC co-star Munmun Dutta aka Babita Ji. Munmun, 36, and Raj, 27, exchanged rings in the presence of their respective families, the source informed us. The insider further revealed that the two actors got engaged in a low-key ceremony outside Mumbai.

However, Raj later took to his Instagram stories and called the engagement report false. "Hello everyone. Just to clear things up, the news you've been seeing on social media is false & baseless," he wrote.
