This stunning image features a beautiful view of a nearby star-forming region, NGC 1333. The nebula is situated in the Perseus molecular cloud, approximately 960 light-years away from Earth.

This gorgeous image is of a close-knit collection of five galaxies, called the Hickson Compact Group 40. It consists of three spiral-shaped galaxies, an elliptical galaxy, and a lenticular galaxy.
