While Pushpa 2 topped the list of most awaited movies, it was followed by Akshay Kumar's Hera Pheri 3 and Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule has become one of the most awaited films of 2024. On Friday, Ormax Media released a list of the top five most-awaited films of the year. Films whose trailers have not been released yet were included in the list. While Pushpa 2 topped the list, it was followed by Akshay Kumar's Hera Pheri 3 and Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The other two movies in the list include Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR's War 2 and Ajay Devgn's Singham Again.

Released in 2021, Pushpa: The Rise was written and directed by Sukumar. The film turned out to be a blockbuster and ruled the box office. The last leg of shooting for Pushpa 2 is currently underway. The teaser of the film was released recently in which Allu Arjun was seen dressed in a saree with his face painted in shades of blue and red. He also sported makeup with heavy traditional gold and flower jewellery. He was seen beating up goons.

Besides Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2 also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. The film is also likely to feature Samantha Ruth Prabhu in a cameo. Sanjay Dutt is also likely to make a special appearance in the movie. Pushpa 2 will hit theatres on August 15, 2024.

On the other hand, Hera Pheri 3 will be helmed by Farhad Samji. Apart from its original cast of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty, the film will also star Sanjay Dutt in a key role.

Talking about Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the film will mark Kartik Aaryan's return as Rooh Baba. Besides Kartik, the third film in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise will see the return of OG Manjulika aka Vidya Balan. Madhuri Dixit will also be a part of the film.

In February this year, Kartik Aaryan shared a montage of scenes from 'Ami Je Tomar' dance that was performed by him in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 as well as the OG Vdiya Balan's performance from Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Posting the clip on his Instagram handle, Kartik wrote, "And its happening Og Manjulika is coming back to the world of BhoolBhulaiyaa Super thrilled to welcome @balanvidya ❤️‍This Diwali is going to be crackling #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 @aneesbazmee @tseries.official #BhushanKumar."
