Realme is set to launch a new smartphone in India this week. On April 24, the company will launch the Realme Narzo 70x 5G in India.

More Realme smartphones incoming! Realme is launching another smartphone in India this week. On April 24, the company confirmed the launch of the Narzo 70x 5G smartphone. The smartphone will be a lighter version of the Narzo 70 Pro 5G that was launched in the Indian market just last month. The Narzo 70x 5G also features a very similar design to the Narzo 70 Pro 5G (review). The same half-moon design and circular camera module can be seen. The Narzo 70x also features a flat display like the 70 Pro. The Narzo 70x 5G, however, is seen in a powder blue colour in the teasers, instead of the signature green of the 70 Pro.

Realme Narzo 70x 5G: What we already know

Realme's official invitation indicates that the Narzo 70x 5G will offer 45W charging support and will be priced below Rs 12,000. Currently, only three smartphones in the sub-Rs 15,000 category offer such fast charging support: the Realme P1 5G, Tecno Pova 5, and Realme 12X 5G. The Narzo 70x 5G is likely to directly challenge the Realme 12X 5G in this market segment.

The teaser also confirms that, akin to the Narzo 70 Pro 5G, the Narzo 70x will boast a flat display, matte finish back, and a triple camera setup. While enthusiasts await further details from Realme, the company's rapid release of seven smartphones in less than four months in 2024 has sparked curiosity about its strategy and potential competition within its own product lineup. Nonetheless, consumers are keen to learn more about Realme's approach with its swift succession of product launches.

Realme has been relentless in its smartphone releases this year, commencing with the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ early in the year. This was followed by the Realme 12 series, featuring the Realme 12 and Realme 12+, and subsequently, the Realme 12X and Realme Nazro 70 Pro 5G. Expanding its portfolio further, Realme recently introduced the P series in India with the debut of the Realme P1 5G. Now, shortly after the P-series unveiling, the company has announced an upcoming launch event on April 24 to reveal the Narzo 70x 5G. Moreover, just yesterday, Realme teased the launch of the Realme C65 5G.
