The bike gets LED turn indicators and new graphics as well

The Bajaj Pulsar N160 with inverted fork has been launched at Rs 1,39,795 (ex-showroom, Mumbai), with the on-road price being Rs 1,75,200. This makes the bike Rs 7,270 more expensive than the previous model. Also, the N160 is now Rs 6,906 more affordable than the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Rs 1,235 more expensive than the Bajaj Pulsar 220F.

The 160cc streetfighter received updates in terms of an LCD instrument console and new colour schemes a little over two months ago. And now Bajaj Auto has updated it again with an inverted fork. Also, the turn indicators are LED units now. The 'N160' lettering on the tank is also different.

The Pulsar N160 gets an LCD instrument console with smartphone connectivity and call and SMS alerts, phone battery and signal indicator but doesn't get turn-by-turn navigation. The console shows speedometer, odometer, tachometer, gear position indicator and other readouts. The left-side switchgear is revised with a new button for navigating through the menus in the instrument console. It is powered by a 164.82cc, air-/oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 16PS and 14.65Nm.

Braking duties on the Pulsar N160 are handled by a 300mm front disc brake (280mm front disc in the single-channel ABS variant) and a 230mm rear disc brake in the dual-channel ABS variant. Its rivals are the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, Yamaha FZ-S Fi V3.0, Suzuki Gixxer, and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
