Kunal Kemmu's directorial debut film, Madgaon Express, recently hit theatres and has received positive reviews from fans and critics alike. While audiences are already showering the film with a lot of love, actress Vidya Balan was the recent one to review Madgaon Express. After watching the comedy film, Vidya Balan shared her pleasant experience on Instagram and even lauded the entire team.

"I haven't laughed as much in a film as I have in Madgaon Express. If you haven't watched it yet, you're missing out on mad fun," Vidya Balan wrote. She further lauded the lead actor, Pratik Gandhi and the other cast and crew members of the film.

It is pertinent to note that Vidya Balan will feature alongside Pratik Gandhi in their upcoming movie, Do Aur Do Pyaar.

Meanwhile, many other celebrities including Kareena Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora, have also shared their reviews recently, stating that they enjoyed watching the hilarious comedy flick. Makers also held a star-studded screening of the film in Mumbai.

The film features actors like Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary, Nora Fatehi, and Divyenndu in significant roles.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Goa, the film effortlessly blends the elements of comedy, drama and suspense, offering a fresh and engaging narrative experience. While it continues to receive an abundance of love from the audience, the film has managed to continue its hold in theatres for over three weeks now, earning around Rs 28 crore so far.

What's on the work front for Vidya Balan?

The actress is presently busy with the promotion of her upcoming film, Do Aur Do Pyaar. Also featuring actors like Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D'Cruz, and Sendhil Ramamurthy in the lead roles, it will hit theatres on April 19.

On the other hand, Vidya Balan recently announced being part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, where she will be seen reprising her iconic role as Manjulika. The original Bhool Bhulaiyaa, featuring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan, was released in 2007 and was a big hit. Its sequel was released in 2022, with Kartik Aaryan and Tabu taking over the lead roles.

The third installment is expected on Diwali 2024.
