Anupamaa Major Twist: Shruti In Hospital After Being Shot

There's never a dull day in Rupali Ganguly's Anupamaa. In the April 19, 2024, episode of the cult TV soap, Anupama comes back to an empty house as the Shah family has gone back to India. She also goes to the Superstar Chef and tries her best to save herself from the danger zone. In the precap, it is shown that Shruti has been shot by a gun and is in the hospital. Anupama blames herself and Aadhya screams at her.

Kinjal-Toshu fight in car

Toshu and Kinjal are in the car to drop off the Shahs at the airport. Toshu says that they should have gone back to India with them too. Kinjal tells him that they are not tourists who can just leave anytime they want. They are residents and hence, have to wrap up things first before leaving the country. Toshu asks her to wrap it fast or else he will go back to India with Pari. To this, Kinjal fiercely says, "Son't you dare. She will stay with me." Toshu reminds her that she is jobless so how will she manage raising a child alone.

Anupama in Superstar Chef competition

Anupama goes to the Masterchef competition to save herself from the danger zone. She, however, gets nervous seeing the ingredients kept in front of her as she hasn't seen them ever before. Keith says that it is a do and die round while Hitachi mentions that one contestant will be eliminated today. Sally appreciates Anupama's confidence.

Anupama and the other contestant had to make a dish in 15 minutes with the ingredients provided. Anupama gets nervous and recalls Toshu laughing at her and Vanraj asking her if she knows international cuisine. While Anupama is about to quit, she imagines Yashdep, Babu ji, baa, beeji and others motivating her, saying she can do it.

Anupama musters up the courage and says she will cook the food by smelling and tasting it. She starts cooking when just 7 minutes are left. Anupama finishes her dish even though 55 seconds are still remaining. Sally and Hitachi get impressed.

Shruti gets shot

In the precap it is shown that Anuj rushes Shruti to hospital. Anupama is seen blaming herself saying that the bullet was shot for her. Aadhya screams at Anu saying if anything happens to Shruti then she will take her life. Anupama tells herself that she has only motive in life now and that is to return Shruti to Aadhya.
