Auto-rickshaw rides can be a bit bumpy especially if you are going through narrow bylines. In its latest ad campaign, Apple takes the iPhone 15 for a ride in an auto-rickshaw. Titled "Relax, it's iPhone", the ad showcases the durability of the iPhone. The idea being showcasing the tough build quality of the iPhone while all the tossing, turning and tumbling around at the back of an auto rickshaw happens in bylaws.

The ad shows a young woman sitting in the back of an auto while watching an IPL match. There are hard bumps, sudden and sharp turns but the iPhone manages to survive the bumpy rickshaw ride. The iPhone slips and drops inside the auto but manages to survive in the ad campaign. The campaign will air on broadcast and will also appear on digital pre-roll, TVO, and social media

Apple says that the iPhone 15 can be dependably durable even on the roughest of commutes. The iPhone 15 features a back glass with a custom dual ion-exchange process and an aerospace-grade aluminium enclosure, which help make iPhone 15 incredibly durable. There's  Ceramic Shield front cover, which Apple claims is tougher than any other smartphone glass. The iPhone 15 also sports a water- and dust-resistant design.

While the iPhone 15 is certainly durable, it also depends on your luck. A drop from a height — especially on concrete roads — can lead to the damage of the screen or the back. It is advisable that one should use a screen protector and a back cover despite Apple's durability claims. Although it might reduce the flaunt value of the iPhone, it will increase the shelf life and protect from drops and falls.

In the last 12 months or so, Apple has become the top premium smartphone brand in India. Apple does offer no-cost EMI schemes, trade-in benefits for buyers, making the iPhone relatively more affordable.
