The OnePlus Nord CE 3 is available at a lower price in India. The device has received a big discount of Rs 4,009 on Amazon. This comes just a few weeks after the latest generation OnePlus Nord CE 4 launched in the country. But, should you buy the older model? Read on to find out.

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 is currently listed on Amazon at a discounted price of Rs 22,990 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. To recall, the device was announced in India with a starting price tag of Rs 26,999. This shows that Amazon is giving a flat discount of Rs 4,009. There is also an additional Rs 2,000 discount offer on the ICICI bank credit cards, which will effectively bring down the price to Rs 20,990. One can also check out the EMI options on the e-commerce platform.

Comparatively, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 is available in India for Rs 24,999. Of course, this is the new model, so the mid-range phone will be on sale at its original retail price. If people can extend their budget by a few thousand rupees, then they should consider buying the new version because of the better specs that it offers.

With its superior chipset, boasting the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip compared to the Snapdragon 782G SoC powering the older version, and a more capacious 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging (versus the previous 5,000mAh and 80W), the Nord CE 4 emerges as a compelling choice. However, it's worth noting that the Nord CE 3 offers a larger sensor in its primary camera (1/1.56-inch versus 1/1.95-inch), while the improvements in the ultra-wide and selfie cameras remain minimal with the new iteration.

The older model is still a sleek and powerful smartphone designed to meet the daily needs of mid-range buyers. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 comes packed with a 6.74 inch AMOLED display that offers up to 120Hz refresh rate.
