Rashmika Mandanna elevates cocktail dressing in a black embroidered gown by Mishru

We need to rethink the consensus on avoiding black during summer. And Rashmika Mandanna will spearhead the rebellion. Why? Her bodycon, floor-length gown, adorned with striking coral embellishments, gives us all the right reasons why black shouldn't be ignored this summer.

The coral-layered "Zaley" gown by Mishru features narrow strap sleeves with scalloped edges and a plunging square neckline. As styled by Preettham Jukalker the head-to-toe black ensemble was paired with statement earrings and a ring from Radhika Diamonds.

For her glam, makeup artist Vaishnavi Singh created a combination of smoky eyes and perfectly outlined reddish-brown lips for the Animal actor. With a touch of contouring for subtle definition and a dewy finish base, she chose to go for a perfectly winged eyeliner that tied the look together.

Mandanna's love affair with the colour isn't surprising though. She served a gothic monochromatic long black dress with a cut-out on one side and ruching details on the sleeves for the Japanese brand Onitsuka Tiger's 75th anniversary. She paired the edgy dress with an oversized black coat placed over her shoulders.
