Addressing an election campaign for Congress candidate Raju Alagur here on Friday, Siddaramaiah said Modi has not worked for the poor, youth, Dalits and minorities in his 10-year term. "He just stirs up emotions, talks about religions and castes without speaking about his govt's achievements.

It is unbecoming of the PM to allege that reservation is taken away from Hindus and given to Muslims. In 1977, Havanur Commission for Minorities had recommended reservation. Chinnappa Reddy Commission has also recommended the same. Modi speaks as if reservation is unconstitutional. This is an attempt to polarise people. None of the elected MPs spoke about injustice meted out to Karnataka."
