vivo V30e 5G with 6.78″ curved AMOLED screen, 50MP eye AF front camera, 5500mAh battery launching in India on May 2

Update: vivo has confirmed the launch of V30e in India on May 2nd, as expected.

Earlier: vivo has started teasing the launch of V30e, the company's next phone in the V series, in India.

Curved Display, Aura Light, Smart Color Temperature Adjustment 2X portrait with Wedding Style Portrait option that was available in V30 and V30 Pro, Sony IMX882 sensor, 50MP eye AF selfie camera, and a 5500mAh battery for the phone.

The company says that it will be the slimmest smartphone in India with a 5500mAh battery at just 7.69mm thickness.

Based on rumours, the phone will feature a 6.78″ FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC with 8GB RAM, 128GB and 256GB options, 8MP ultra-wide camera, Android 14, 44W fast charging and IP64 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The phone will be sold on Flipkart, in addition to vivo India online store and offline stores. Based on the teasers, we can expect the phone to launch in India on May 2nd.
