Mangaluru/Udupi, Mar 28: Faithful from across Mangaluru and Udupi observed Maundy Thursday with solemnity and reverence.

Scores of worshippers gathered in churches throughout the region to commemorate the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with his disciples, marking the beginning of the Easter Triduum.

Special services, including the symbolic washing of feet and the Eucharistic celebration, were conducted, with clergy delivering sermons reflecting on the significance of the occasion.
