The Eagles exited the NFL's three-day draft weekend with a physical and athletic class of nine players who'll quickly fit into the 'Gold Standard' way of doing business.

Toledo DB Quinyon Mitchell (No. 22 overall)

Iowa DB Cooper DeJean (No. 40)

Houston Christian LB Jalyx Hunt (No. 94)

Clemson RB Will Shipley (No. 127)

Texas A&M WR Ainias Smith (No. 152)

Clemson LB Jeremiah Trotter Jr. (No. 155)

Michigan OG Trevor Keegan (No. 172)

Florida State WR Johnny Wilson (No. 185)

N.C. State C Dylan McMahon (No. 190)

Philadelphia made nine of the draft's 257 picks and totally retooled their secondary after landing Toledo All-American cornerback Quinyon Mitchell and Iowa star safety Cooper DeJean with their first two picks.

With the rookie minicamp fast approach, we're looking at Philadelphia's biggest winners and losers.

The Eagles' new defensive coordinator brings a versatile scheme, and Howie Roseman rewarded him with a shutdown cornerback in Quinyon Mitchell and a Swiss army knife in Cooper DeJean. In all, Philadelphia has revamped a lackluster defense from 2023.

Philadelphia added a new running back for the second year by signing Saquon Barkley in free agency. The Eagles drafted former Clemson dual-threat running back Will Shipley in Round 4 of the NFL draft. Barkley could be in Philadelphia for three years, while Shipley appears to be the running back of the future. Gainwelll will enter a contract year without an opportunity for a breakout season.

Like Fangio, Moore was rewarded with new toys in the draft, as the Eagles selected Shipley (RB), Ainias Smith (WR), Johnny Wilson (WR), and two athletic offensive linemen.

Philadelphia already has veterans on the roster that can challenge Steen for the right guard spot. Then Howie Roseman drafted a natural offensive guard in former Michigan road grader Trevor Keegan.

Jalyx Hunt is a pass rusher and will compete with Nolan Smith for snaps. Dean is returning from a foot injury and will face expectations and a legacy pick after Jeremiah Trotter Jr. fell to Philadelphia in the fifth round. Devin White looks to be an immediate starter, and Trotter won't be your typical Eagles rookie, as his father, Jeremiah Trotter Sr., is there to walk him through what will come daily.

The Eagles special teams coordinator signed a new deal this offseason, and he was rewarded with multiple return specialist ahead of the first year of the NFL's new kickoff rules.

Cooper DeJean, Ainias Smith, Shipley, and Isaiah Rodgers are have the potential to be dominant return men.

James Bradberry is likely in his final season with the club, but the most impacted players are Kelee Ringo and Eli Ricks.

Both players saw significant action at cornerback in 2023, but will now compete with Isaiah Rodgers and two elite rookies for snaps in the secondary. Add in DeJean's versatility alongside C.J. Gardner-Johnson, and Philadelphia will have a deep unit at cornerback, that could be missing either Bradberry, Ringo, Ricks, or Zech McPhearson.

The former Georgia All-American will enter Year 3 with growing expectations, and he'll see plenty of snaps after Philadelphia decided against drafting a defensive tackle in the draft. Roseman will give Davis ample opportunity to prove his worth in a rotations that includes Milton Williams, Marlon Tuipulotu, Moro Ojomo, PJ Mustipher and Noah Elliss.
