The Brewers won a Tuesday night battle with the Rays at American Family Field by a final of 8-2, but the chaos of the evening isn't present in the box score unless you scroll down to the "Ejections" section.

The bottom of the first began with a single by William Contreras and a walk by Rhys Hoskins. With two men on, Gary Sanchez grounded into a force out at second, but he was injured while beating out the throw to first. The Brewers later reported the injury as right hamstring tightness.

As Sanchez exited, Tyler Black entered as his replacement to make his MLB debut. The Brewers would also go on to score in the inning as Willy Adames hit a sac fly to bring home Contreras for an early 1-0 lead.

Joey Wiemer flashed the glove in the top of the second, robbing Isaac Paredes of extra bases in the left field corner.

Brice Turang extended the Brewers' lead in the second with an RBI single to bring home Jackson Chourio, who singled and stole second. He then scored on a sac fly from Contreras to make it 3-0 after two frames.

After a Jose Siri solo homer cut the lead to 3-1 in the third, Black recorded his first MLB hit in his first at-bat, a double to left center.

Milwaukee extended their lead in the fifth as Hoskins was hit by a pitch, Black singled, and Adames brought them both home with a three-run homer to make it 6-1.

Things then took a turn in the sixth, as Freddy Peralta hit Siri with a pitch. After a brief meeting between the umpires, Peralta was ejected without any warnings issued, and Pat Murphy was then ejected for the second consecutive night after an argument with Chris Guccione.

Siri scored later in the inning as Elvis Peguero threw a wild pitch and Richie Palacios singled. The Brewers got that run back and added some insurance in the seventh, as Joey Ortiz and Chourio both got two-out walks and Turang brought them home with a double to extend the lead to 8-2.

While that was it for the scoring, that wasn't it for the ejections. Both Siri and Brewers reliever Abner Uribe were ejected after Siri grounded out in the top of the eighth, leading to an argument at first base.

After Siri and Uribe exited, the rest of the game was smooth sailing. Milwaukee collected four stolen bases as a team, while Black, Turang, and Wiemer led the team with two hits each.

Peralta made it through 5 1⁄3 innings on just 66 pitches prior to being ejected, allowing two runs on one hit and no walks with seven strikeouts. Peguero, Uribe, Hoby Milner, and Thyago Vieira combined for the final 3 2⁄3 innings, allowing no runs on four hits and no walks with six strikeouts.

The Brewers will look to take the series in the rubber match Wednesday afternoon. Colin Rea starts for Milwaukee with Zach Eflin on the hill for Tampa. First pitch is at 12:10 p.m.
