The 2024 NFL draft is now behind us, and the Detroit Lions were one of several teams to receive glowing remarks from draft analysts across the country for how they operated the board.

But now attention turns to when the Lions' six draft picks — Terrion Arnold, Ennis Rakestraw, Giovanni Manu, Sione Vaki, Mekhi Wingo and Christian Mahogany — will sign their rookie deals and what the details are, such as how much they'll be paid.

Per the NFL's collective bargaining agreement, the length of rookie deals is "fixed" and can't be altered. First-round draft picks receive a four-year deal with the ball club holding a fifth-year option, meaning the player's base salary is fully guaranteed.

Second through seventh-round draft picks also receive a four-year deal, but no team option. Additionally, rookies are not able to renegotiate their deals until after their third season is complete, hence Amon-Ra St. Brown and Penei Sewell — two of the Lions' 2021 draft picks — respectively striking new contracts with the Lions last Wednesday.

As we wait to see who will ink their deals first, here's an estimate of how much each player will be paid. Estimated figures are courtesy of Spotrac and Over The Cap:
