If you have any airlines miles laying around, you might want to book a trip to Antarctica. Stat. The trip just might end up paying for itself.

Mount Erebus, an active volcano on Ross Island in Antarctica is currently spewing $6,000 worth of gold dust every single day!

According to FOX, researchers have found traces of gold as far as 621 miles away from the volcano.

Mount Erebus is in a pretty remote location in Antarctica, though. Researchers have been monitoring it using satellites.

So good luck even getting to Ross Island if you want to prospect for gold! And make sure to bring a coat!
