Katy Perry was minding her own business the other day and decided to hop on Instagram to innocently share a photo of her new "haircut" (intentional quotes), captioning the post "thoughts, comments, concerns? 👇🏼" And people....had plenty of all three! Some highlights? When we said justice for witness...we didn't mean recreate it 😅 We don't need another witness era... Here we go again Don't get carried away girl It's happening again!!!! And some all-caps highlights? GIRL I THOUGHT WE LEARNED OUR LESSON IM GETTING FLASHBACKS STOP IT RN. GIRL WHAT ARE YOU DOING DONT YOU REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED TBE LAST TIME YOU CUT YOUR HAIR.. WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU!!! Anyway, turns out Katy saw everyone's absolute hysteria over this cut, and had to hop back onto Instagram to reassure fans that she was, in fact, simply wearing a wig. "You guys had a lot of strong feelings about my haircut," Katy said in a video while sitting on some steps and sipping on a Coca-Cola. "Let's see that energy for KP6, cause this is just a wig." As a reminder, Katy teased new music on Jimmy Kimmel Live back in February (while announcing her departure from American Idol), saying "I have some things planned for this year. It's going to be a very exciting year, Jimmy, for all pop star girlies. Let's just say I'm creating space for my new wingspan." Can't wait to make KP6 my entire personality, K bye!
