Slipknot coming to Star Lake in August

Slipknot will make a stop in western Pennsylvania this summer on a tour marking 25 years since the release of the band's debut album.The group will perform at the Pavilion at Star Lake on Wednesday, Aug. 7, along with Knocked Loose and Orbit Culture.Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday.It's the latest addition to the Star Lake concert calendar, which also includes Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pitbull, Dan + Shay, Imagine Dragons, Third Eye Blind, Outlaw Music Festival, Styx and Foreigner, Hootie & the Blowfish, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, James Taylor, Creed, New Kids on the Block, Bret Michaels "Parti Gras," Doobie Brothers, Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper, Cage The Elephant, Chris Stapleton, Staind and Breaking Benjamin, Noah Kahan, Tyler Childers, Hozier, Jason Aldean, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Sam Hunt and Kidz Bop.
