iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus Expected to Come in These Colors

Apple will unveil its new iPhone 16 lineup in a range of new colors later this year in the fall. Here are all the rumored colors so far for the two non-Pro models: The standard iPhone 16 and the larger iPhone 16 Plus.

In the last few years, ‌iPhone‌ lineups have launched with five color options. For example, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are available in black, blue, green, yellow, and pink.

According to the most recent report from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who is a credible source for rumors, the upcoming iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will be available in black, blue, green, white, and pink. In other words, white is set to replace yellow, while the other colors will remain the same.

Kuo noted that Apple could rename some of the existing colors. Notably, he also conceded that where color names are not changed, the actual tone and appearance may still look different, so that leaves some wiggle room for Apple to switch things up more broadly.

In summary, here are the existing iPhone 15 color options alongside the colors rumored for the iPhone 16:

iPhone 16 Plus to Get Exclusive Colors?

According to an earlier rumor, Apple could buck its five-color trend for this year's 6.7-inch iPhone 16 Plus. Weibo-based leaker "Fixed focus digital" has claimed that Apple's larger iPhone 16 Plus model will come in as many as seven colors that either build upon the existing five colors in the standard iPhone 15 lineup, or recast them in a new finish.

The leaker in question did not provide any more context for the rumor beyond the model name, so whether the seven color options are also meant to be coming to the smaller iPhone 16 is unclear at this time. It could be that the leaker has only seen materials for the larger device in the supply chain, in which case the same colors could also be coming to the smaller 6.1-inch iPhone 16.

That said, this is the earliest rumor that we have received about potential colors for the standard iPhone 16 models, and the leaker has an unproven track record for accurate leaks, so we would put more weight in Kuo's claim above. While the Weibo leak is not beyond the realms of possibility, it is more likely that Apple sticks with the same number of colors as last year for both models.

The following table shows the existing iPhone 15 Plus color options alongside the colors rumored to be exclusive for the iPhone 16 Plus:
