Pendaftaran beasiswa LPDP 2024(screenshoot)
KOMPAS.com - Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) kini membuka beasiswa S2 yang ada ikatan kerja atau langsung kerja setelah lulus. Dilansir dari laman LPDP, mahasiswa yang lolos beasiswa ini juga akan mendapatkan gaji sampai Rp 240 juta per tahun. Beasiswa S2 LPDP ini merupakan bagian dari Beasiswa Targeted. Melalui program bernama Beasiswa Kerja Sama Metalurgi NEU adalah beasiswa jenjang magister melalui program kerja sama co-funding antara Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Kemaritiman dan Investasi (Kemenkomarves), LPDP, NEU dan Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co. Ltd. Mahasiswa akan kuliah diprogram studi (prodi) Metallurgical Engineering di Northeastern University (NEU) Tiongkok. Lama masa studi yang ditanggung oleh beasiswa ini adalah tiga tahun. Pendaftaran sendiri sudah dibuka mulai 17 April sampai 17 Mei 2024. Setiap peserta yang mendaftar beasiswa NEU akan menandatangani surat perjanjian ikatan kerja dengan pihak Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co. Ltd yang berada di Indonesia selama dua tahun. Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co. Ltd sendiri adalah industri hilirisasi nikel asal Tiongkok yang tengah beroperasi di Indonesia dengan nama Huayou Indonesia. Perusahaan ini mengolah dan memproduksi nikel untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan kendaraan listrik. Total gaji yang ditawarkan untuk setiap pekerja sebesar Rp 180 juta sampai 240 juta per tahun. Bila dirata-rata, gaji per bulan antara Rp 15 juta sampai 20 juta. Penerima beasiswa dapat mulai bekerja setelah tanggal 1 bulan 7 tahun 2027 atau sesuai dengan tanggal kelulusan kuliah.
