Ingin Pileg 2029 Tertutup, Kaesang: Supaya "Amplop"-nya Enggak Kencang

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Ketua Umum Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep menilai, Pemilihan Legislatif (Pileg) 2029 dengan sistem proporsional tertutup bisa mencegah politik uang.

Menurut Kaesang, calon anggota legislatif (caleg) tidak lagi akan "gila-gilaan" mengeluarkan uang untuk dapat dipilih. Sebab, dengan sistem ini, rakyat hanya akan memilih partai politik.

"Jadi, kami dari partai yang menentukan begitu, karena supaya amplopnya enggak lebih kencanglah, tetap akan ada, tetapi setidaknya akan mengurangi," kata Kaesang dalam acara halalbihalal Rumah Juang Relawan Jokowi (RJ2) di Kemang, Jakarta Selatan, Jumat (19/4/2024).

Kaesang menilai, sistem pileg proporsional tertutup perlu dilakukan untuk mengurangi politik uang yang kerap dilakukan banyak caleg untuk mendapatkan kursi.

Ia yakin bahwa politik uang akan semakin kencang jika sistem yang digunakan pada Pileg 2024 kembali diberlakukan pada Pileg 2029.

"Kalau sistem yang digunakan kayak kemarin 2024 (caleg bisa dipilih langsung), 2029 saya rasa amplopnya akan lebih tebel lagi," ucap putra bungsu Presiden RI Joko Widodo itu.

"Salah satu yang bisa disarankan adalah pemilu tertutup, tertutup yang di mana cuma partai yang kelihatan, tetapi calegnya enggak kelihatan," ujar dia lagi.

Kaesang memahami bahwa sistem proporsional tertutup tidak akan langsung bisa memerangi politik uang sebagaimana yang terjadi pada Pemilu 2024. Namun, langkah ini dapat menjadi solusi untuk mengatasi politik uang.

Ia pun menyarankan partai politik lain untuk memiliki sikap yang sama untuk mengurangi politik uang yang selama ini menjadi praktik lazim.

"Selalu saya sarankan ke depannya semoga bisa itu tertutup, yang menentukan dari partai, jadi orang (rakyat) cuma bisa coblos partai, enggak bisa coblos orangnya (calegnya)," ucap dia.
