Villagers return to Egypt to see more history

In 2019, Diane Lock and Tony Ritter took a-once-in-a lifetime trip to the pyramids of Egypt. Last year, the couple asked themselves, "Why not go back?" The two headed back to Egypt last November for two weeks of excitement weaving through some of the most iconic destinations there. The couple, from the Village Santo Domingo, found themselves captivated by the sights they had seen four years ago, along with plenty of new ones during their most recent adventure. "We're both interested in Egyptian history, so we were happy to go again," Lock said. "It was just as great as the first time."

Lock and Ritter had a feeling of deja vu as they took in the details of the bustling city of Cairo, from the stunning architecture to the vast Nile River. The familiar sights were a pleasant greeting, but they were also eager to see parts of Egypt they had missed the first time.
