The best Cinco de Mayo food deals in 2024: Taco Bell, Chipotle, more

The holiday commemorates when the Mexican army defeated France in the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War on May 5, 1862.

There's no better way to celebrate than with food and drinks — especially when the fiesta falls on Sunday Funday.

Anyone searching for a good deal to grab lunch or dinner on Cinco de Mayo is in luck, because restaurants across the countries are having deals for the occasion.

Taco Bell

Naturally, Taco Bell has quite a few deals to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

Rewards loyalty program members can snag five soft or crunchy tacos for $5 on Sunday, May 5, on the Taco Bell app.

That's just $1 per taco!

Those ordering Taco Bell on Grubhub or DoorDash will get Free Nachos BellGrande with an order of $20 or more. Over on Uber Eats and Postmates, customers can buy a Nacho BellGrande and receive a second for free with a delivery order.

Additionally, new eaters can get 20% off their Taco Bell order of $15 or more on DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates and Grubhub, with a maximum of $5 off.

Chipotle

Through Sunday, May 5, Chipotle customers can use the promo code "CINCO24" to get free delivery on all digital orders.

The order must be a minimum of $10 and maximum $200, each excluding taxes and fees.

Moe's Southwest Grill

At Moe's, Cinco de Mayo is "all about the cincos."

Moe reward members can get $5.55 burritos and bowls at participating locations. The reward can be used once per customer, and premium proteins, extras and add-ons will be an additional charge.

Additionally, the first 30 customers on Sunday get a free T-shirt.

Del Taco

Fast Food Club reported that Del Yeah! Rewards members can get a free burrito on Cinco de Mayo when they spend $10 or more.

Rewards members also get free delivery if their order is $15 or more.

Chuy's

Chuy's will have food and drink specials for dine-in customers all Sunday Funday on May 5.

Deals include a Regular House 'Rita for $6 or a Grande House 'Rita for $10 — and keep the giveaway cup, while supplies last. If you want to enhance your 'rita, you can add $1 tequila floaters all day long for an extra pour of tequila, Cointreau or Grand Marnier.

Chips 'N' Dips are also $5 all day Sunday.

Tijuana Flats

Tijuana Flats has a list of Cinco de Mayo deals.

Customers who go in to the restaurant can order off the $5 Fiesta de Mayo menu, which includes $5 margaritas, $5 Tijuana trio, $5 chips & queso, $5 chips & guac, 2 for $5 Mexican beers, 2 for $5 Mexican cokes, and $10 bucket of beer.

The Tex-Mex chain is also celebrating National Tex-Mex Month by bringing back their Mexican pizza & enchiladas.

Taco John's

Taco John's Bigger Bolder Rewards loyalty program members get a free beef Taco Bravo with the purchase of $5 or more on May 5.

The offer can be redeemed both in-store and on the app, as long as you join the loyalty program by Saturday, May 4.

Bubbakoo's Burritos

Bubbakoo's Burritos is giving their loyalty members a BOGO deal for Cinco de Mayo.

Only on May 5, when a customer orders a regular entree at full price, a coupon will be automatically delivered to their loyalty account on May 6 that can be redeemed for a free entree.

The coupon is valid from May 6 through May 12.

Additionally, all customers can use the code "CINCO10" to get 10% off all catering through May 5.

"Guac on The Rock" x Teremana Tequila

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson will pay for your guac the entire month of May.

For the fourth year in a row, to celebrate both his birthday and Cinco de Mayo, 'The Rock' and his premium, small-batch tequila brand Teremana will pay for your guacamole throughout the whole month.

"For Cinco de Mayo and my birthday this year, I'm happy that the Guac will be on the Rock for a full month," Teremana Tequila Founder, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, said in a statement.

Restaurant goers who purchase any Teremana Tequila drink with an order of guacamole from May 1 through May 31 will get reimbursed up to $10.

All you have to do is find a participating restaurant, order a cocktail and guac, take a picture of your receipt, submit it online and you'll get reimbursed via Venmo.

On the Border

For Cinco de Mayo, On the Border will be offering $5 Cinco Ritas, $5 Mexican draft beers, and its signature queso for $5.

On Sunday, May 5 only, the Spicy Ghost Rita — a premium Agave Ghost Tequila Blanco infused with Ghost Pepper and paired with fresh lime agave — will be $9.99.

Baja Fresh

Baja Fresh is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with $5.55 off $20 (before tax) when ordering online at bajafresh.com.

Customers must be a Club Baja Rewards member to claim the offer using the code BAJACINCO.

Hooters

HootClub Rewards members will have access to an exclusive $5 Cinco de Mayo appetizer special in the Hooters app.

Additionally, $5 Legendary Ritas or Dos Equis Big Daddys will be available to all patrons for the holiday.

California Pizza Kitchen 

CPK is declaring every hour happy hour for Cinco de Mayo.

Happy hour deals include $5 starters including white corn guacamole and chips, $7 margaritas, and $9 pizza and beer.

The offer is valid for dine-in only at participating locations.

STK Steakhouse

Have a fiesta at STK Steakhouse on Cinco de Mayo with $5 tacos and tequila shots, with premium tequilas including Don Julio, Casamigos, Patron, Herradura or Milagro. STK will also be pouring shots of ultra-premium Cincoro Anejo for $25 each.
