OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Saturday marked day two of the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting.

There's no shortage of things to see or learn at the annual event.

"So many people. It's incredible how much it's grown."

Some people here have made it their yearly tradition, while others are visiting for the first time from overseas.

"It was very interesting to listen and to learn from more experienced businessmen," says Justyna, who flew all the way to Omaha from Poland.

Most notably, this meeting is the first without Charlie Munger. Warren Buffett's sidekick died last year at age 99.

"It was sad to not have him there," says David Stevens.

"It was really endearing though because someone asked him, if you had another day with Charlie what would you do. And he said you know what, we've lived our life to the fullest and we were great friends. So his presence was missed but you could feel the love for him in the room and the difference that he made with the company too," says Natalia Stevens.

The yearly question-and-answer sessions are highly anticipated by shareholders. Many walk away with new advice from one of the best in the business.

"Long term. In other words, just don't buy something overnight. You gotta be in it for the long haul," says one shareholder.

"In our school systems we're getting better at starting to teach financial literacy. So I think making this a part of your annual staple event in your life as a family, I think it's really smart," says David Stevens.
