American singer and rapper Doja Cat, who loves to stir pots every now and then, is taking social media by storm, all because of her bold look for a quick shopping spree with her new beau Brett Nelson. Viral photos show the singer walking across the streets wearing just a thong and a bedsheet, which she wrapped around her body like a cover dress.

Some pictures show the couple shopping for a ring, or even possibly an engagement ring, from a high-end jewellery store. In a mirror selfie, she is seen flaunting a diamond-studded necklace and her beau, who is actually also her creative director. 

Contrary to Doja, Brett kept his look casual. He donned an oversized sweatshirt with wide-legged denim pants. A watch and a classic pair of sunglasses completed his look.

The rapper also got brutally trolled for her sartorial pick and many criticised her for pulling such "vulgar stunts" in public for publicity and clout. A user wrote, "How vulgar and cheap. Can you just stay at home and spare us the horror." Another commented, "If y'all can't tell this is a promo for her and vetements for the met gala, a lil research can do a LOT. " A third netizen wrote, "I know a hotel bed sheet when I see one."

Earlier this week, Doja shocked fans with another bold fashion move. She left little to the imagination as she stepped out in a thong and some plastic wrap wrapped around her hips and chest.
