First-year Las Vegas Raiders general manager Tom Telesco has signed his first free agent this offseason who he has history with.

The team announced Monday morning that it has signed wide receiver Jalen Guyton. He visited the team a week ago.

Guyton, the seventh unrestricted free agent from another team that the Raiders have signed in free agency, was with Telesco with the Los Angeles Chargers. Telesco signed the speedy wide receiver as an undrafted free agent in 2019.

Guyton played in eight games and had 10 catches for 89 yards in 2023. For his career, Guyton, who turns 27 next month, has played in 46 games with 14 starts. He has 71 career catches for a 15.7 per catch average and seven touchdowns.

He is the second wide receiver the Raiders signed since not taking one in the draft. He added former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup last Monday. He has a chance to be the No. 3 receiver.

Guyton's best chance to make the roster will be as a No. 5 receiver.
