As friends, family and fans celebrated the life of Mandisa Hundley over the weekend, the cause of the Grammy-winning singer's death remains a mystery that could take months to solve.

Hundley was found dead in her Williamson County home on April 18. She was 47.

The Tennessean has filed a public records request with the medical examiner's office, seeking documents related to Hundley's autopsy. In response, the Tennessee Department of Health said a complete autopsy report would be released in the next 60-90 days. The Davidson County Medical Examiner's office said Monday they do not release preliminary reports.

Max Winitz, a spokesperson for Franklin Police Department, told The Tennessean Monday the investigation into Hundley's death remains open.
