It appears that Mike Perry has found his calling in the world of bare knuckle boxing as he recorded yet another quick stoppage at last night's Knucklemania.

The former UFC welterweight was bordering on journeyman territory during his days with MMA's No.1 promotion. But he is now on a tremendous winning run, earning massive paydays and arguably the face of a sport that is growing in popularity.

Last night BKFC brought their unique brand of combat to Los Angeles, California for the first time with Knucklemania, headlined by Perry against former UFC welterweight title contender Thiago Alves. After dropping the Brazilian early, the bout was waved off for one more big win as Perry continues to rise.

'Platinum' Perry was 1-4 in his last five before leaving the UFC, and after a quick stint in Triad Combat where he stunned fans in an upset win over boxer Michael Seals he made the move to BKFC where he has become one of their key players.

Perry has defeated Julian Lane and Michael 'Venom' Page in the early part of his run, before ramping things up in recent efforts. He made quick work of former middleweight champion Luke Rockhold and then took out ex-lightweight king Eddie Alvarez to go 4-0.

But last night he faced a different kind of test in Alves, who had multiple fights in the BKFC squared circle prior. Having also taken a decision against Julian Lane, he stopped Ulysses Diaz in the summer of 2021, before taking a break from fighting.

Perry landed his quickest win yet as he caught Alves early and dropped him, with referee Dan Miragliotta stopping the contenst seconds later. It was Perry's fifth win in BKFC, and sixth since parting ways with the UFC.

Mike Perry pushes for Darren Till bare knuckle fight in aggressive post-fight callout

After his big win over Alves, there was one name on Perry's lips as he continued his years-long feud with Darren Till. The pair have had a long-standing rivalry and agreed to fight on multiple occasions, but a deal has never been done to make the bout a reality.

When he got on the microphone at the Peacock Theatre last night, Perry made sure to reiterate his interest in Till, making an expletive-laden rant where he said: "Darren Till, you fat f***ing b****, get your a** over here or I'll come to the UK".

He also called for a potential meeting with Nate Diaz after his boxing fight with Jorge Masvidal this summer, and detailed how he predicted the ease with which he would finish last night's bout. "My easiest fight yet, just like I said it would be," he declared.

"I'm the undisputed king of bare-knuckle. I'm No. 1 pound-for-pound. F*** anybody who thinks differently. I'm the king in this b****. Come and see me, bro. If you want the smoke, if you want the money - I want all the smoke and all the money!"

Perry has cemented himself as a major star in combat sports with his turn in BKFC, and was paid a whopping $600,000 for his minute of work last night. And he wants a stern challenge after dispatching of his last three UFC veteran opponents.

"The hate's going to come," Perry told media after the event. "People are going to want to try to get in, but they've got to earn their spot. I've earned my spot and I'm going to continue to earn my spot and the more pressure on my shoulders the more I feel I have to earn.

"It's not even fair, I didn't even give you guys a show. You need to bring me back next week so I can give you a show but who am I going to fight? Who's going to fight me that you guys want to see? I need a big star, I'm kind of clearing it out here. Who's a big star that's got the hands and can take it like me. There's not one!
