CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) - Express Inc. is closing one store in Greater Cincinnati after filing for bankruptcy protection this week. The cut comes as the Columbus, Ohio-based retailer looks to shutter more than 100 locations across the U.S. and said it could be acquired in a proposed deal that would save the struggling business.

Overall, the upcoming culling won't impact Ohio much. According to U.S. Bankruptcy Court filings, just two stores, including one in the Cincinnati region, will close.

The Express at Liberty Center, located at 7540 Bales St. in Liberty Township, is slated to shut down by June 30.
