The Edmonton Oilers done 'n' dusted off the Los Angeles Kings in the opening round of NHL playoffs for the third year in a row, and social-media site X sure took notice following Wednesday's Game 5 of the Western Conference series.

With any luck, their scorecard will be right on par with their power play, which went a perfect 0-for-12 against the Oilers over the series.

So, can you really blame him for putting his head down and trying to go right back to work after the final buzzer? And besides, it's the rookie head coach's inaugural playoff win, so a bit of leeway should be granted when it comes to post-series traditions. Also, it is still pretty funny at the same time.

The Edmonton Elks' first-overall pick from the Canadian Football League draft one night earlier got some facetime on the jumbotron at Rogers Place as Cincinnati linebacker (and almost even an actual Canadian) Joel Dublanko took in his first Oilers game.

Of course, the only question any football fans in this town wants to know is, how is his spiral???
