The Edmonton Oilers done 'n' dusted off the Los Angeles Kings in the opening round of NHL playoffs for the third year in a row, and social-media site X sure took notice following Wednesday's Game 5 of the Western Conference series.

The Edmonton Elks' first-overall pick from the Canadian Football League draft one night earlier got some facetime on the jumbotron at Rogers Place as Cincinnati linebacker (and almost even an actual Canadian) Joel Dublanko took in his first Oilers game.

Of course, the only question any football fans in this town wants to know is, how is his spiral???

(It's a joke. The double-E have had their share of challenges at quarterback since pre-COVID …)
