Periods of drizzle can't put a damper on the 50-cent raise Quebec workers get on May Day 2024. Minimum wage is $15.75 per hour as of now.

The Quebec Labour Ministry says 200,700 workers will benefit from the increase, 111,200 of them women.

Expect a high of 12 C during the day, with a UV index of 6, or high. At night, a low of 8 C with a chance of a thunderstorm.
