As numerous media news sites are reporting, Rob Marciano, longtime ABC News senior meteorologist, is out at the network. As People reports, the former ABC News and "Good Morning America" meteorologist "is no longer with the company," according to a source.

Portland-area viewers may recall Marciano from his years with KATU-TV. Marciano spent 1997 to 2003 as KATU's chief meteorologist, later moving on to CNN, "Entertainment Tonight," and, since 2014, a position as senior meteorologist with ABC News.

Prior to Marciano's official exit, People reports, the meteorologist had been "temporarily banned" from the "Good Morning America" studio, "due to allegedly inappropriate behaviors," though he still contributed weather reports from locations outside the studio.

Page Six had reported that there had been complaints about Marciano and alleged "anger management issues."

The People report goes on to note that the news of Marciano's firing "comes two years after his ex-wife Eryn Marciano filed for divorce after 11 years of marriage."

"At the time," according to the story, "the weather reporter told PEOPLE that the couple had been going through rough times in a statement shared shortly after the filing went public."

The Daily Beast reports that Marciano's ouster was allegedly related to a "heated screaming match" with one of the "Good Morning America" producers, according to "two sources familiar with the situation."

Another People report cites a source who agrees that Marciano had "a temper," and another source who disagrees with that characterization, describes such allegations are "vicious," and adds that other colleagues agree that the "Rob Marciano being portrayed is not the Rob Marciano we know."
