'Emily in Paris' Sets Season 4 Premiere Date as Cast Teases 'Messy' Twists and Turns Ahead

Emily Cooper is back at it — and fans don't have too much longer to wait before she's gracing their screens again. 

On May 3, Lily Collins and the cast of Emily in Paris announced that season 4 of the hit Netflix series will be premiering in two parts. The first five episodes will arrive on August 15, followed by the second half on September 12.

"You're welcome," Collins, 35, said in the video announcing the news as she blew a kiss at the camera.

The fourth installment of the series will pick up after the "dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel's misbegotten wedding," according to an official synopsis.

"Emily is reeling: She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel's expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie's worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed. At work, Sylvie is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage, and the Agence Grateau team navigates personnel shakeups," the synopsis reads.

Mindy (Ashley Park), meanwhile, is preparing for Eurovision with her band, "but when funds run dry, they're forced to get thrifty."

Season 4 also sees Emily and Gabriel begin to work together on his restaurant in the hopes of earning it a "Michelin star," and their "chemistry is undeniable." However, "two big secrets threaten to undo everything they've dreamed of."

The announcement video also saw the cast tease what's to come in season 4 as they were asked to describe it in just three words.

Collins said "vulnerable" and "adventurous," while Camille Razat, who plays Camille, said, "messy."

Lucien Laviscount, who plays Alfie, said season 4 is "chaotic" and "heartbreaking," but for Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, who plays Sylvie, "This season sums up to one word: revenge."

Park, 32, joked that her three words to describe the season are "not finished yet," as filming is still ongoing, while William Abadie, who plays Antoine, said "amor" and Samuel Arnold (Julian), of course, said "fashionable."

In the video announcing the fourth season last June, Collins teased that "more fun, more fashion, and of course, more drama" is coming in the new installment. "It's safe to say we ended on a dramatic note last season. And surprise, it does not end there!" she said in the teaser.

"So much happened that we just need answers to. Is Alfie still heartbroken? Will Gabriel get his Michelin star? Will Mindy and the band go to Eurovision? And what about Cami? Will Sylvie's rekindled love last? And, the question on all of our minds: Will Emily and Gabriel finally get together?"

Teasing more of what's to come, Collins said Emily's life will take "some unexpected twists," too, which will include a Roman holiday and an ultimatum. "Emily is going to have to decide if she's ever wanted is really what she needs," she added.

Season 4 of Emily in Paris will debut in two parts, with the first coming on August 15 and the second on September 12. Seasons 1-3 are now streaming on Netflix.
