Ben Affleck 'supportive' of ex-wife Jennifer Garner

Ben Affleck just showed his support for ex-wife, Jennifer Garner after the death of her father, William Garner.

A source spilled to Entertainment Tonight, saying, "He has been checking in on her and making sure she knows he is there for her since her dad's passing. It was the kids' grandfather, and Ben and him always got along."

The insider also claimed that Affleck has always "considered [William] family and always will," hence he has been "supportive across the board."

Additionally, clarifying the dynamics the former couple has "beyond dealing with this loss," Jennifer has been "in a happy place" while she co-parents, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, whom she shared with Affleck.

The 52-year-old Alias star revealed the tragic demise of her 85-year-old father on April 1, 2024, via an emotional tribute which she uploaded on her official Instagram account.

"My dad passed peacefully Saturday afternoon. We were with him, singing Amazing Grace as he left us (did we carry him across or scare him away— valid question.) While there is no tragedy in the death of an 85 year old man who lived a healthy, wonderful life, I know grief is unavoidable, waiting around unexpected corners," Jennifer Garner wrote.
