Although we are currently living in the LeBron James and Stephen Curry era, there is nobody who will debate that Kyrie Irving is one of the best ball handlers in NBA history. Perhaps only other legendary players like Allen Iverson or Jason Williams can be considered on that level, but none of them managed to win an NBA championship iwth a game winner as Kyrie did with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016. LeBron James remembers that moment perfectly, he won his third ring and perhaps the most important one thanks to that three-pointer and his own defensive prowess in the following play. Last night, those memories came back to him all at once.

Kyrie Irving's unguardable buzzer beater made Luka Doncic think he was dreaming

The best Kyrie Irving is back

In a thrilling Game 6 agianst the Los Angeles Clippers, Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic had a tremendous performance with the Dallas Mavericks that pushed them to the next round in the Playoffs. But that final shot from Kyrie that won the game is pure poetry to watch. Irving is simply waxing poetic inside the court this season and the entire world is thoroughly enjoying his performances. Many within the basketball community were quick to point out how impressive that play was and how Irving managed to stop time with his ball handling. Watching the sequence in slow motion is about the best basketball you will see in the NBA this season.

For LeBron Jams, it must be frustrating to watch Kyrie doing these things when he could've done it for the Lakers since last season. Irving himself recently confessed the Lakers was an option for him but he blamed the GMs of both teams on the ultimate decision to not mak the trade. Now that he is in Dallas, playing alongside Luka Doncic has been a blessing that he is currently trying to soak in. Up next, the Mavericks will face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the next round of the Playoffs. Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic will be ready for a really complicated challenge.
