HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Boeing has notified its employees in Huntsville of possible layoffs. The Alabama WARN list showed Boeing will lay off 128 employees in Huntsville June 28. When asked for comment, Boeing officials did not confirm to us its layoff plans. Boeing did say it was notifying some members in Huntsville of potential layoffs. Officials said it was due to external decisions. Boeing officials did confirm to 48 News the company's SLS program is one of the groups affected by the potential layoffs. However, it said other programs and functions may also be affected.
