To mark the occasion, the monarch met with cancer patients at a treatment centre, where he shed some light on his health and how he's been coping.

The Prince of Wales also gave an update on his wife, Catherine, Princess of Wales, and the couple's three children Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and six-year-old Prince Louis during a recent engagement.

During a visit to Newcastle, William assured a woman that his wife and kids were all "doing well" - a rare update that has buoyed the spirits of Wales fans around the world.

Of course, this week was a very special one for the Prince and Princess of Wales.

April 29 marked 13 years of marriage for the royal couple, who celebrated the occasion with a never-before-seen portrait from their wedding day.

Over in Sweden, royal fans were given an adorable glimpse of two little princes we don't often see in public.

The boys, aged six and three, joined their parents Prince Carl and Princess Sofia as well as older sister, Princess Alexander, seven, for the historic appearance.

Royal watchers also have another big event coming up.

Harry confirmed he is coming back to the UK on May 8 for a Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul's Cathedral in London to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

Speculation mounted over whether Meghan would be joining the Duke of Sussex, but it was later revealed the former Suits actress would be remaining home.

Experts have since weighed in on whether Harry would use this opportunity to visit his father or reunite with his brother, Prince William. The overwhelming majority, however, believe Harry won't be spending time with the Prince of Wales any time soon.

The next few weeks will likely be a refreshing change of pace for the British royals as the senior members look to make their grand public return.
