Although the former couple 'don't communicate anymore,' Asghari found the latest incident to be 'definitely worrisome.'

'Sam has been down this road with Britney before and knows how she is,' the source expressed, while adding that he 'feels terrible if she is not surrounded by positive people in her life.'

The insider further explained that despite their split, Sam 'will always wish [Spears] the best and would be there for her if she needed him.'

Asghari and Spears recently reached a divorce settlement nine months after their separation, and in the latest update, the Toxic singer will not pay spousal support to the actor.

Later this year on December 2, the pair will officially be declared single - which also happens to be Britney's birthday, according to E! News.

Earlier this week on Thursday, Sam uploaded a smug 'life update' in a new Instagram photo where he struck a pose while shirtless during a hike with his dog.

While taking a break on a quiet, dirt path while surrounded by hills, Sam also flashed a cheerful smile for the quick snap.

Some social media users slammed the actor for making the post amid concerns for Britney's mental health and physical wellbeing.

Just hours earlier, Britney sparked 'mental health crisis' concerns when she was seen outside barefoot with the paramedics outside the Chateau Marmont in L.A. in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Spears injured her ankle while doing cartwheels outside her room at LA's famed Chateau Marmont hotel DailyMail.com can reveal.

It came after a night of heavy drinking as Britney and her 'felon boyfriend' Paul Soliz celebrated the finalization of her divorce from Asghari.

The one-time pop princess and Soliz, 37, had retreated to the room after being refused further service at the hotel bar, sources inside the hotel say.

'When I saw her at the bar, at first I didn't even realize it was her as she looked so disheveled,' one insider said.

'She was with a guy and their security team and the guy ordered drinks but was refused service because of the state they were in.

'They stormed off and were being really loud and causing a ruckus. One thing was certain - they certainly didn't need any more alcohol.'

'Britney and her friend were in the hallway outside their room being loud and arguing. Britney was also doing cartwheels up and down the hallway and then started screaming that she had hurt herself,' the source stated

She sounded tearful as she narrated two Instagram videos that showed off her 'twisted' right ankle that looked painful and swollen

Bleary-eyed Spears was pictured at the hotel early on Thursday morning, wearing only her underwear and clutching a pillow in scenes reminiscent of her 2008 meltdown when she attacked a car with an umbrella.

The source said the pair made their way to the room and about 30 minutes after they left the bar complaints started rolling in from fellow guests about the noise they were making.

It was originally claimed that Spears had suffered the injury after an altercation with Solis. Spears and Soliz have been an item since 2022 when he was hired to do maintenance work around her house. She was married to Asghari at the time.

Britney and Soliz were celebrating the end of that marriage at the famed Chateau - where comedian John Belushi died of a drug overdose in 1982.

Soliz has a long history of run-ins with the law including charges for disturbing the peace, child endangerment and possession of a firearm.

Britney also claimed she was 'set up' by her mother Lynne Spears when paramedics escorted her out of the Chateau Marmont in the early hours of Thursday morning — sparking concern that the singer is suffering a 'mental health crisis.'

She sounded tearful as she narrated two Instagram videos that showed off her 'twisted' right ankle that looked painful and swollen.

Like her initial statement on the matter, she claimed that paramedics came to her hotel room 'illegally' and 'caused a huge scene which was so unnecessary and all I needed was ice [for my ankle].'

In her caption, Spears then shifted blame to mom Lynne as she accused the 68-year-old of somehow being 'involved' in the ordeal.

'I know my mom was involved !!! I haven't talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out !!!' the Toxic hitmaker wrote.

She continued: 'I was set up just like she did way back when !!! I wish I had grandparents !!! I can't stand her !!! I honestly don't care I will say it'

Britney closed out her post by gushing over her longtime attorney, Mathew Rosengart, who she said is 'like a father' to her. She also included a photo of Rosengart.
