Eimantas Stanionis vs. Gabriel Maestre

Round 1: Maestre comes out firing, Stanionis keeping his guard up. Stanionis advances with the jab as Maestre tries to ward him off with straight punches. Body shot by Stanionis, but Maestre catches him with a punch up top. Stanionis pressuring now, but plenty of activity from both fighters. Good right hand by Stanionis. Maestre counters with a crisp jab. Stanionis showing a good jab now. He blocks a Maestre flurry. Flow of action favoring Stanionis now. He sneaks in an uppercut. Maestre with a couple of light body shots. Stanionis low and tight, he pops out with two good left hooks.

Round 2: Both boxers working to establish the jab. Maestre wants to land with power, but it's not close. Jab on point by Stanionis. Maestre with a good 1-2 combo. Stanionis counters and lands a combo of his own. He's out-jabbing Maestre. Maestre targets the body to open up Stanionis' defense. Stanionis staying solid and scoring with jabs. That wakes Stanionis up and they're trading in close now. Maestre getting loose, trying to goad Stanionis into a mistake. He's not biting. Maestre playing defense against the ropes, Stanionis carefully picking his shots. Counter right and an uppercut score for Stanionis. Big right hand by Stanionis. He's closing out these rounds well. It's a competitive fight, but should be a shutout for Stanionis on the cards so far.

He's having fun in there and lands a goofy-looking uppercut.

Brandon Figueroa vs. Jessie Magdaleno

Round 1: Figueroa staying on the outside, trusting his jab. Magdaleno looking for an opening, not much output from either man. Figueroa sneaks in a quick left hand. They're keeping their distance. Magdaleno jabs the body. Figueroa punches his way in. We have a quick stoppage to check a cut on Magdaleno's left eye. All good. Close round.

Round 2: Replays show Magdaleno's cut was due to an accidental clash of heads. Magdaleno keeping his distance before stepping in for a short combination. Nice glancing left by Magdaleno. He's staying busy and circling. Body shot by Figueroa, then a straight right. Uppercut inside by Magdaleno. Figueroa wants to pressure. He's having difficulty finding angle to land on the shorter Magdaleno. Not the most thrilling fight so far. Referee has to break them up as they wrestle against the ropes.

Round 3: A couple of good hooks from Magdaleno to start the third. He catches a lunging Figueroa with a body shot. Magdaleno, hands down, letting Figueroa come to him. Good advancing left from Figueroa. Magdaleno to the body, but he's warned to get the punch up. Figueroa still not finding the angles to land effectively.

Round 4: Figueroa marching forward, but it's Magdaleno who is winning the jab battle. Referee warns Magdaleno for excessive holding. Figueroa bullying Magdaleno against the ropes, hard to tell if either fighter is landing anything effectively here. Magdaleno lands inside, then hits a couple of counter punches. He's catching Figueroa's body. Odd strategy from the taller Figueroa to turn this into a clinch battle. Good jab by Magdaleno. Figueroa scores with Magdaleno on the ropes. He lands a short hook. Magdaleno goes down, but it looks like it might have been from a low shot. Replays show it was definitely to the cup. Only seconds left in the round when the action resumes and there's the bell.

Round 5: Figueroa flicking his jab out, but not really doing anything with it. He's at least starting to have some success inside. Magdaleno the one struggling to get punches off now. Jab from Figueroa, Magdaleno hits the body.

Round 6: Magdaleno catches Figueroa coming in. Now there's a warning to Figueroa for strikes to the back of the head. Uppercut by Figueroa. Magdaleno happy to let Figueroa walk him to the ropes, Figueroa starting to connect more consistently. Figueroa peppering Magdaleno with head shots. More volume from Figueroa with Magdaleno on the ropes. He's taking his time, battering Magdaleno. Best round yet for Figueroa.

Round 7: Figueroa immediately corners Magdaleno. He's just putting his weight on Magdaleno and sneaking in shots where he can. The ref breaks them up. Magdaleno back to the corner again. Figueroa in pursuit. Lots of volume from Figueroa, nothing substantial landing, but Magdaleno not throwing much back either. Left hand to the body by Figueroa. Bruising action inside. Slick uppercut by Magdaleno, but he's simply being out-punched. They trade uppercuts.

Magdaleno with a couple of good shots as he exits. They trade with 10 seconds left in the round. Ugly fight, tough one to score.

Round 1: Barrios and Maidana both respecting each other's power. Maidana sneaks in a body shot. Neither fighter able to break their opponent's defense so far. Maidana gets out of the way of a Barrios straight. Barrios rips one to the body. A body shot from Maidana finds the mark. Jab by Barrios. Maidana with another good body shot. Very little to score in the opening round.

Round 2: Barrios quick to take the center of the ring. He's keeping Maidana at jab range. Good jab by Barrios. A couple of Maidana jabs catch nothing but leather. Barrios with another jab.
