Frank Gore Jr., son of future NFL Hall of Fame running back Frank Gore Sr., went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Gore Jr. had back-to-back seasons of 1,000-plus yards rushing at Southern Miss entering the draft and 19 rushing touchdowns over that span of time. Despite producing on the field, Gore Jr. never heard his name called during the 2024 NFL Draft.

After getting passed over by every team, the Buffalo Bills made it a priority to sign the running back as an undrafted free agent. Following the news, Josina Anderson reached out to Gore Sr. The former Bills back had something to say to everyone who passed on his son.

Tell them they better be ready.

"We're good," Gore Sr. told Anderson via Twitter. "We're going to Buffalo man to do our thing. Tell them they better be ready-trust me. I know what I'm raising. Folks slept on my son; they slept on me too--they'll see. My bloodline is for real. Our (pre-draft) testing was identical. All the scouts were like you can tell that's my son. I !@%$ with (Brandon) Beane. He's the real deal. I'm happy to get my son to this point. We're coming to play. Buffalo got a dog; I promise you that. I don't give a %#$ about a draft pick. We're about to party and do our thing."

Buffalo showed interest in Gore Jr. during the draft process. The team had a formal interview with Gore Jr. at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. Despite drafting Ray Davis in the fourth round of this year's draft, Buffalo made sure to sign Gore Jr. immediately following the conclusion of the draft.

What can fans expect of Gore Jr.? Here is what Dane Brugler of The Athletic said on the back in The Beast draft guide.

"Overall, Gore will fall short of expectations if he's compared to his All-Pro father, but vision and toughness are in his DNA, and he has potential on passing downs. He also played on punt coverage in college, and his workhorse mentality might be a fit in the right offense."
