NORMAN, Okla. -

Downed trees and power lines in Norman are the result of a possible tornado that moved through the area.

News 9's Cameron Joiner was live at 24th and Robinson as crews begin the cleanup.

The tornado-warned storm began SW of the Riverwind Casino, forcing occupants to take precautions.

The path led towards the University of Oklahoma in Norman, which also put out a notice to students to take tornado precautions. By 9:50 p.m., OU had given the all-clear.

Gov. Kevin Stitt released the following statement:

"My prayers are with those who lost loved ones as tornadoes ripped through Oklahoma last night. Thank you to Oklahoma Emergency Management and those who have worked through the night to keep Oklahomans safe and have worked to clear debris and assess damage."
