Gray Zone Warfare aims to be on consoles, but that could be 'years out'

Without an official release date, there isn't much information about when players can finally play an official build of Gray Zone Warfare. Thankfully, Mindfinger Games finally confirmed that the early access release date will be revealed on Monday, April 29. Additionally, we now know what each edition of the title will come with, including cosmetic items, in-game currency, and larger locker sizes. But that all aside, players want to know which platforms the title will be available on.

Is Gray Zone Warfare coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S?

Madfinger Games confirmed that the team's goal is to eventually make Gray Zone Warfare available for consoles and add controller support to PC. But before players get too excited, players should temper their expectations.

"Consoles could be years out," Madfinger Games confirmed. "We want to build the ultimate experience and make sure our vision truly comes into fruition first."

This news will disappoint players hoping for an earlier release date, but users can at least rest assured that the devs eventually plan to add the title on consoles. As for everyone else, there is no way to pre-order Gray Zone Warfare without an official release date. However, players can add the title to their Steam wishlist, in order to get a notification when pre-orders go live.
