Three easy platinum trophies in the May 2024 PS Store sale

The core principle here is that the games provide you with substance and quality, rather than just a quick platinum that you can earn in minutes and forget about. The trophy lists below are all easy and can be earned without too much effort. However, they may take longer than your average easy platinum trophy to earn. Also, make sure you avoid the eight broken trophy lists in the May Savings PS Store sale.

All trophy lists are pulled from the EU and UK PS Store.

Final Fantasy XVI

Final Fantasy XVI is set in the twin continents of Valisthea, currently divided between six nations who hold power through access to magical Crystals and Dominants. Dominants are humans who act as hosts for each nation's Eikon, which take the form of classic Final Fantasy Summons. Tensions between the nations have started to escalate as a magical drought known as the Blight has begun consuming the land. You'll play as Clive Rosfield, a guardian for his brother, Joshua Rosfield, who is a Dominant for the Phoenix Eikon.

Staff Writer Lee praised the game in his Final Fantasy XVI review and even made a handy Final Fantasy XVI trophy tips article that you should take advantage of! With that all in mind, we are happy to say that the trophy list is rather simple to work through.

However, two playthroughs will be required to take home the platinum. One playthrough will need to be done on the hardest difficulty setting, which unlocks after you beat the game for the first time (don't worry, it's made easier by New Game+). There is also one missable trophy, but as long as you don't sell any of your crafting materials, you should be all good. Currently, the platinum 'The Chronicler' has an overall completion rate of 4.10% on PSN.

Stray

Now, what can I say about the adorable game that I haven't already said in my Stray review? The game is a fantastic puzzle platformer and sees you exploring a post-apocalyptic setting filled with robot friends and alien enemies. It's a relatively short experience, but quite frankly one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had. I was enthralled from start to finish and I can guarantee it will be the same for you.

When it comes to the trophies, everything is pretty straightforward. There are some collectibles that you'll need to search for, a speedrun of the game in under two hours, and a couple of random tasks that may take a few attempts. However, all in all, it's a simple platinum that shouldn't cause you too many headaches. Currently, the platinum 'All Done' sits with an overall completion rate of 2.80% on PSN. Come on, let's bump that number up!

Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection

You know what's better than one platinum? Two platinums. Do you know what's better than two platinums? That's right, three platinums! Persona Dancing Endless Night Collection gives you three platinum trophies to earn through Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight, Persona 4 Dancing All Night, and Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight. So, if you fancy taking a break from all that monster slaying you typically tend to do in these glorious JRPGs, then this bundle is perfect for you.

As you may have guessed from the name, these games will see you dancing like your life depends on it and rocking out to some of Persona's great music. It's an absolute delight to play through any of these games. If you're a fan of Persona or a fan of rhythm games, then what are you waiting for? These games are perfect for you!

The trophies for all three of these games are also incredibly easy. Every platinum trophy has earned at least a 17.40% completion rate on PSN, which as you might be able to tell is not shabby at all.
