LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The White team beat the Red team, 25-21, in the Nebraska Football Spring Game on Saturday at Memorial Stadium. Freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola passed for 239 yards on 16 completions with a pair of touchdowns. Raiola starred, while fellow QBs Heinrich Haarberg and Daniel Kaelin also impressed. In total, the Huskers racked up 577 passing yards in the Red vs. White scrimmage.

The game attracted more than 60,000 fans on a sunny morning in Lincoln. The game was played less than 24 hours after multiple tornadoes hit various Nebraska communities.

"Hopefully we brought people some joy today on a dark day after yesterday," Matt Rhule said. The head coach opened his postgame interview by promoting the Huskers' "Nebraska Together" apparel, which raises funds for tornado relief.

Rhule said he was pleased with his team's performance in the Red vs. White scrimmage. The second-year head coach felt the Huskers executed well besides a few first half turnovers. Ethan Nation and Mason Jones each had interceptions.
