A woman has been placed in a psychiatric hold at a hospital after reportedly causing chaos on roads in Boston and Revere Monday morning.

In about an hour, the woman allegedly hit several cars, ran over a person's foot, evaded police several times, and drove into the Coast Guard base in the North End before being stopped by a forklift while trying to drive into Fenway Park, Boston police said.

The woman first encountered police Sunday night when she said she scraped a vehicle as she was backing out of a one-way street. Boston police responded at about 10 p.m. to reports of a drunk driver, and a third party said the woman was drunk, but officers did not observe signs of physical impairment, according to a police report.

The Monday morning saga began at 7 a.m., when State Police received a report of a person driving erratically and "aggressively" in the area of Ocean Avenue and Revere Street in Revere. The woman allegedly honked and yelled something at a responding state trooper before driving away, according to a press release by State Police.

The trooper attempted to stop the vehicle, a 2024 Blue Honda Accord, but the woman allegedly did not stop. The trooper opted to not pursue her due to heavy traffic in the area, according to State Police.

At 7:30, State Police responded again to reports of a hit and run at the entrance of the Ted Williams Tunnel in East Boston. They determined that it was the same woman who had reportedly evaded the state trooper, and that she had struck two cars at the entrance of the tunnel before fleeing the scene.

About eight minutes later, Boston police responded to reports that a vehicle had entered the Coast Guard Base, according to the police report. The woman had allegedly entered the base through the main gate, "roamed" the parking lot, then drove out another gate that was locked, causing "obvious damage," according to the police report.

About 20 minutes later, police responded again to a report of a drunk driver at the intersection of Boylston Street and Exeter Street. Officers spoke to a victim who said that the woman had attempted to go through a red light and accelerated into his vehicle.

The woman then struck several other vehicles while driving the wrong way on Boylston Street, police said.

At about 8:30 a.m., the woman had made her way to Fenway Park. Officer Christopher Holt, who was working a detail at Gate C, attempted to get her to stop her car several times, but she reportedly continued driving on Lansdowne Street, honking and hitting cones.

"Officer Holt notified and yelled for Fenway Security staff and construction workers to leave the area as [the Honda] continued to drive into the open Gate C into Fenway Park," the Boston police report reads.

According to police, "numerous" employees were in the gate at the time. Despite this, the woman allegedly continued to drive down the ramp towards the gate, hitting a forklift on her way in.

"Officer Holt saw the immediate threat to Fenway Staff on the loading dock and on the field actively working," the police report reads. "Officer Holt yelled for the [forklift operator] to position the forklift in front of the [Honda]. The [Honda] reversed in the opposite direction in attempt to flee the scene."

"Officer Holt jumped on the fork lift and instructed [the operator] to raise the front of the vehicle. The forklift operator blocked the entrance to the field and was able to stop the [Honda] on the loading dock," the report continued.

The woman was eventually taken into custody when Holt broke her car's window to unlock the passenger side door. She was then taken to a hospital.

While in the ambulance, the woman reportedly said that it was a "beautiful day out" and that she attempted to drive arrive around the forklift to "continue to see Fenway Park," according to the police report.

As officers were standing at Gate C, another victim came forward saying that he was working a construction detail that morning when the woman failed to stop for an excavation truck. She allegedly yelled at the victim to get out of the way before running over his left foot.

The victim said he was wearing steel boots at the time of the incident and declined medical care.

Later, officers were informed that the woman would be placed under a psychiatric hold under Section 12.

The woman will be charged with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon; assault and battery with a dangerous weapon; resisting arrest; trespassing; reckless operation of a motor vehicle; failure to stop for police; leaving the scene of personal injury; destruction of property; leaving the scene of property damage; and assault with a dangerous weapon. The police report noted drug use as a suspected factor in the Monday morning incident.

State Police also said they would seek charges against the woman for evading police.

No one besides the woman appears to have been taken to the hospital Monday morning, according to documents.
