SHIGERU SENO, Nikkei senior staff writerMarch 23, 2024 02:21 JST | Latin America TOKYO -- Argentina's government will not tell companies to trade with China, Foreign Minister Diana Mondino said Friday, arguing such decisions should be left to the private sector in a change of stance from the previous administration. "It is only private companies that buy or sell from Chinese companies," the foreign minister said in an interview. "The Argentine government should not interfere as in the past with the previous government deciding from whom to buy, what to buy, what price."
