SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Dunkin' is celebrating National Nurses Day with free coffee at participating locations in western Massachusetts on Monday.

The past few years have been extremely difficult for nurses, and everyone else in the healthcare field. In recognition of those who work tirelessly to keep our communities running, Dunkin' is treating all healthcare workers to a free medium hot or iced coffee during National Nurses Day this year.

No purchase is necessary and Dunkin recently released its donut swirl flavors, blueberry donut and vanilla frosted donut.

"This National Nurses Day, Dunkin' is honored to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the nurses who serve our communities day in and day out," said Kelsey Chester, Dunkin's Field Marketing Manager for Western Massachusetts. "As a small token of our gratitude, we're inviting nurses to take a well-deserved coffee break on us."
