Shortly after 7 a.m., a State Police trooper was flagged down by a motorist in Revere who reported that a 2024 Honda Accord was driving "erratically and aggressively." The trooper then saw the vehicle passing by on Ocean Avenue, according to Procopio.

"The female operator honked the car's horn and yelled something before speeding off," Procopio said.

The trooper attempted to stop the Honda, but the driver, believed to be Gibbs, refused to stop, Procopio said.

At 7:30 a.m., troopers responded to reports of a hit-and-run crash at the entrance to the Ted Williams Tunnel in East Boston, Procopio said.

"Subsequent investigation determined that the same operator who fled from the Trooper in Revere had struck two vehicles at the entrance to the tunnel and fled scene," Procopio said. "The motorists whose vehicles were struck had no apparent injuries."

State Police also responded to a Coast Guard base in Boston at 7:38 a.m. after a driver allegedly drove into the base and damaged it, according to the incident report from Boston police. Officers then responded to a report of a crash involving a drunken driver at the intersection of Exeter and Boylston streets at about 7:56 a.m., the report said.

When officers arrived, they spoke with a driver who said he was sitting a red light at the intersection when the vehicle behind him began honking and attempting to driving through the red light, the report said. The vehicle allegedly accelerated and drove into the rear of his vehicle.

He told officers he could feel the vehicle attempting to push him through the intersection, the report said. A van then moved out of the way and allowed the Honda to turn right onto Boylston Street in the wrong direction.

The driver said the Honda struck another unknown vehicle as it drove the wrong way down Boylston, but then he lost sight of her, the report said. The driver declined medical treatment for himself and for a child who was in the back of his vehicle.

Officers notified State Police that the Honda could have driven onto the Massachusetts Turnpike near Newbury Street, Boston police said.

The wild sequence ended at Fenway Park around 8:34 a.m., the report said. An officer was working a paid detail at 14 Lansdowne St. when the Honda allegedly drove past Gate C twice with the horn beeping as it struck cones on Lansdowne Street, according to the report.

The officer tried to pull the Honda over over because a construction crew was moving items out of Gate C and onto trucks on the street, the report said. The officer demanded that the driver stop and yelled at Fenway security staff and construction workers to leave the area when she failed to pull over.

The driver then allegedly drove through the open Gate C, which was filled with numerous Fenway employees, and into Fenway Park, the report said. The gate led to a loading dock, which went into the outfield, where employees were taking down a stage from an event held the previous night.

The driver allegedly struck a forklift, hit a wall, and knocked over items as she drove down the ramp towards the gate, the report said. The officer then yelled to the forklift driver to position the machine in front of the Honda so it wouldn't drive through the gate.

The driver then allegedly reversed and attempted to flee the scene, the report said. The officer jumped into the forklift and told its operator to raise the front of the Honda, which stopped the driver from driving onto the field or leaving the scene.

The officer yelled at the driver to get out of the vehicle and then tried to open the passenger side door, which was locked, the report said. The officer then used a metal pole to smash the passenger side window and unlock the door.

The driver allegedly refused to get out of the vehicle, so the officer placed her in a handcuff and pulled her out of the passenger side door, the report said. She was taken into custody and placed in the back of a police wagon.

The driver allegedly told the officer that it was a beautiful day out, that Gate C was open, and that she drove down the ramp, the report said. She said that the forklift was trying to lift her and that she tried to move around it so she could continue to see Fenway Park, according to the report.

The driver also allegedly said that she had special effects in her car and that she was going to see a movie, the report said, A construction worker later told police that the driver had run over his foot and that her side mirror had struck his arm on Brookline Avenue near Fenway Park, according to the report.

The worker was wearing steel-toed boots and declined medical attention, the report said.

Gibbs was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.

State Police will seek charges for the offenses committed in Revere and East Boston, Procopio said.
